DJ Bio

As a veteran DJ with over 13 years experience on the ones and two’s, Brian Taylor knows how to move a crowd. Heavily influenced by the San Francisco Bay Area underground music scene while growing up, Brian initially gained recognition by spinning at underground house parties and local clubs in the S.F. Bay area in the late 90’s and early 2000. Now residing in the North Bay, Brian is founder of NuDub Recordings, an independent label focusing on live/electronic fused dance music with roots in House, Funk, Breakbeat, and Dub. Release highlights include the Noma Unda (options) album released in summer 2007, which features Steve Kimock on guitar, along with a number of talented local musicians in the North Bay Area. 2009 is looking great with the release of Brian's debut solo album Frisco Funk, and a new Noma Unda album in the works, the hits just keep on coming. Brian’s DJ sets showcase the same range of tunes and tempos as the releases found on the NuDub label. Able to move seamlessly from dub to funk, breaks, and peak hour house; Brian’s sets are sure to please any crowd. Download Bio Here
